We are DI’s official community group. All residents are expected to participate. By remaining an active member, you fund DI improvement projects & events. If you enjoy Roy Jenkins Pool, DI Playground, or walking through Seaplane Basin Park — those projects are thanks to DICA, and we have more in the pipeline.
What Does Membership Include? For only $50/year, you fund our volunteer board to improve your community.
- Renovations to Increase Property Value: Folks assume that public projects just happen. But DICA led construction of the DI playground, a multi-million dollar reopening of Roy Jenkins Pool with heaters, repaving streets with new lighting, and landscaping upgrades. More at dicivic.org/about
- Volunteer-Driven Events: We host the free Eggstravaganza kids egg hunt, Movies in the Park, Halloween in the Village, & resident happy hours. More at dicivic.org/events
- Newsletter, Advocacy, & Voting Rights: You’ll receive regular DI updates, and support & education about issues you face like new development near you. Members vote to elect our volunteer board, and have a voice about changes that affect their property.
If you’re not sure your DICA membership is active (Nov 1 – Oct 31 of each year), click the link above. Membership is tied to your household’s primary email address, so try a few.
